Walking and Working Surfaces: Comprehensive Training – Concise Version

All workers have something in common: the need for safe and secure walking and working surfaces. This need is so important OSHA has a dedicated regulation, 29 CFR 1910, Subpart D, concerning walking and working surfaces. This course teaches employees about the safe work practices covered in this regulation, including the nature of fall hazards and how to recognize them, as well as the procedures to minimize those hazards. It is important the walking and working surface be kept clear of trip and slip hazards, examples of which are provided in this course.
