Violence Prevention: Recognizing the Threat

The first step to preventing a violent incident at work is to recognize the threat. This training shows employees how to look for the signs that lead to someone becoming violent at work. Speaking up is important, and if there is a potential for a violent situation, then bringing it to a manager or supervisor is needed. The signs of workplace violence are outlined in the video training, as well as the actions an employee should take if they think someone has the potential to be violent. This training is focused on preventing violent acts at the workplace by teaching employees to recognize the potential for a violent situation and react accordingly.
