According to People Management, diverse teams are 87% better at making decisions, and according to BCG, diverse management teams lead to 19% higher revenue. Diversity and cultural sensitivity are more important than ever in today’s global and dynamic workforce. This course focuses on increasing cultural awareness, and as more and more teams and organizations work remotely, it is a topic with increasing importance as people interact through various modalities, not just in person. The course discusses a lack of understanding, defining culture, promoting cultural diversity in the workplace, gestures, and a code of conduct as part of increasing this awareness. This module should be used among all your employees as part of a broader diversity and inclusion initiative and should be considered as part of your onboarding process for new hires.
